· The Court has accepted a lawsuit submitted by an importer of engineering equipment, one of our clients, for a case of overcharged expenses of an international shipment.
· Our office is representing a food company in a class action submitted against it for allegedly falsely marking fish products.
· Our office has recently submitted a lawsuit against the Customs Authority regarding the classification of fire extinguishers.
· Our office is working on two lawsuits against an international delivery company for compensation for damages caused by the delayed arrival of a container to Israel.
· Our office is working on a lawsuit of an importer of electric appliances against the Customs Authority regarding the classification of computer screens with an HDMI connection, which Customs claims must be classified as television screens.
· Our office has submitted an objection to the Customs Authority regarding their demand for payment of a deficit note claiming that an error occurred in the classification of cables for a terminal that functions as a control terminal, which the Customs Authority claims must be classified as a wiring kit of the kind used for a motor vehicle.
Miscellaneous
· On September 6, 2012 our office went on a trip to Bethlehem of Galilee. We toured through the German neighborhood and the spice farm, and took an off-road trip on Ranger vehicles.
