Recently Israeli courts issued two judgments in matters related to import taxes in favour of our clients. In the first case the court ordered Israeli Customs to provide an importer with information regarding classification of certain goods, including competitors'.

The other case involved a motion brought by an importer for freezing enforcement and collection measures. The court ruled in favour of the importer, ordering Customs to freeze such measures against bank guarantee valued at 12% of the amount demanded by Customs and attachment of asset valued at 70% of the amount.
