Courts

·    The Haifa Magistrate's Court ruled in favor of the legal action filed by an importer of insulation products, one of our clients, ordering the Port of Haifa to recompense the importer at a sum of NIS 25,000 due to a container that was misplaced on the Port's lot and was found a month and half later.

Trade Levies

·    Our office is representing importers of glass wool and mineral wool in an administrative plea filed against the decision of the Finance Minister on the basis of the refusal to approve the levy placed on these products.

Lectures and Interviews

·    Attorney Gil Nadel was interviewed for the Reshet Bet radio program "Law and Order" on the legality of South Africa's decision to require products arriving from Judea and Samaria to be specially marked.

·    Attorney Gil Nadel gave a lecture at the Israeli Export Institute in late June on the "marine bill of lading".

·    Attorney Gil Nadel attended the international convention of the World Link for Law network in Moscow in mid June.

·    Attorney Gil Nadel gave a lecture at the Israeli Export Institute in early June on "Maman- and the liability of the air carrier".
