***Our office took care of verification of origin documents for Israeli
exporters from the Customs authorities in the US, the EU, and Israel.
Through our office's services, the importers successfully passed the
verification process, and the customs authorities verified the Israeli
Origin Status given to the exporters.

***The court approved a compromise arrangement reached by an importer- a
client of our office- and the Standards Institute, according to which the
importer will not be considered to be breaching confidence with the
Institute (see related article above).

***The court accepted the position of our office's client and ruled that
when the Customs Authority knew of the importer's protest though the filing
of an action on similar goods, failure to write "under protest" on the back
of the directory is not sufficient to deny attaching the directories to the
action (see related article above).

***The court gave binding validity to a compromise arrangement reached by an
importer- a client of our office- and the Customs Authority, according to
which they will cancel around 92% (!) of the deductions issued for import of
remote controls (over half a million NIS!), in return for accepting the
Custom Authority's classification position, since the issuing of those
deficits, on those goods.

***Gill Nadel, Adv, together with Esti Nadel, Adv. (a partner at the firm
Rubin Shmuelevich and Partners, which deals in labor law), joined at the
yearly convention for the Office of Customs Agents and International
Forwarders of Haifa and the North, and of the Office of Customs Agents and
International Forwarders- Tel Aviv. Gill Nadel Adv.
lectured on the subject of new rulings in the field of customs agency and
international forwarding, and Esti Nadel, Adv. lectured on the subject of
new legislation and rulings in the field of women's employment.
