· The District Court of Jerusalem rejected the request of an importer of rubber soles for tire renewal, for a restraining order that would prevent a temporary security on these products from taking effect. The local factory that had complained of an import surplus is represented by our office.
· Our office represented a local factory in a discussion of a committee that provides consultation according to the law for trade levies, regarding a complaint of an import surplus of rubber soles.
· The District Court of Jerusalem canceled an administrative petition submitted against the Minister of Finance's refusal to approve security means for insulation products, and the expenses were charged to the petitioner. The importers opposed to the levy were represented by our office.
· Our office is currently representing two companies that are being sued by class action for lemon juice labeling.
Customs
· The Customs Authority recompensed a spring importer, one of our clients, with the customs that he had paid in excess at a sum of tens of thousands of NIS, for springs that were imported by him.
· The Customs Authority approved the position taken by our client, an importer of car parts, regarding the classification of rear closure fixtures for pickup trucks.
